The first capital of Greece, Nafplion is a small town situated in the heart of the Peloponnese. After losing its title of capital to Athens, it still holds onto the large sense of pride and charisma it always had.
There's an abundance of local "tavernas" offering the daily catch, boutique shopping, history at its very best, and great nightlife at the clubs jutting off the cliffs playing chill-out music. Get lost in the narrow, winding streets of the downtown or sip a cocktail seaside and people watch.
There is no rush in a town that remains untouched by time.

Δυστυχώς και το Ναύπλιο είναι μία κλασική Ελληνική πόλη. Όταν φύγεις από τον παλιό οικισμό συναντάς το κλασικό Ελληνικό αστικό τοπίο: Κτίρια που έχουν χτιστεί όσο επιτρέπεται (ή και παραπάνω) έλλειψη πεζοδρομίων κλπ.
ReplyDeleteΣυμφωνώ, αλλά ευτυχώς που υπάρχει ο παλιός οικισμός, γιατί αλλιώς δεν θα ήταν παρά ένα αστικό τοπίο, όπως λες.
